In Silber ein schwebender, sechseckiger roter Turm mit spitzem Dach.

Origin/meaning

Neuenburg developed around the castle founded in 1100 by the Counts of Calw. In the 13th century the city was the center of the Northern Schwarzwald region. The oldest known seal dates from around 1400 and shows a canting castle (Burg). All later seals and arms showed a tower, but the size, shape and colour changed regularly. The present arms were officially granted in 1956.
