Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 4, 1998.

The design of the arms already dates from 1980 and was made for the 225th anniversary of the village. The arms indicate the oak forests, geese-farming and agriculture (ear, green colour). The base indicates the former importance of fisheries.
