The grapes symbolise the viticulture in the area. Origin/meaning
The oldest seal of Neuweier dates from the early 19th century. It showed a divided shield with in the upper right half the arms of Baden, and in the lower left half a horseshoe. The horseshoe appears alone in a shield in later 19th century seals.
