State : Salzburg
District : Zell am See

Niederns.jpg

Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on April 8, 1963.

The horse is a symbol for the importance of the area as a centre of horse breeding. The 7 bells symbolise the seven former large farms in the municipality. Each of these had a typical bell tower.
