NO 333 (NORWEGIAN) SQUADRON, ROYAL AIR FORCE

History: Formed at Leuchars in May 1943. After World War II it become part of the Norwegian Air Force.

Origin/meaning

The Wings represent the Norwegian Pilots of the Squadron who have come across the Sea, whose Journey is represented by the Viking Ship. The Motto translates as "For King, country and the hounor of the flag". The Badge was approved in March 1944.
