History: Formed at Andover in August 1939.

Motto: servimus et servamus.

Origin/meaning

The Rising Sun and Hammer symbolises the Rebirth of Equipment repaired by the Group. The Motto translates as ”We serve anbd we save”. The Badge was approved in December 1945.
