On a rock a triple towered castle all proper flying therefrom to the sinister a pennon.
Motto : Gin ye daur

Origin/meaning

The Castle on the Rock is from the arms of the City of Edinburgh. The Motto translates as "If you dare". The Badge was approved in March 1940.
