History: Formed at Chedburgh in June 1943.

In front of a demi pegasus gules winged argent, cuped a flash of lightning argent.
Motto: Dona ferentes adsumus = We are come bringing light.

Origin/meaning

The Badge symbolises the Role of the Squadron - Carrying Paratroops, Glider Towing and dropping Supplies and Bombing. The Badge was granted in June 1945.
