NO 771 SQUADRON, FAA

History: First formed in 1939 at Portland, Dorset as a Fleet Requirement Unit disbanding in 1955. The Squadron reformed 1961-1964.

English Blue; in base over two bars wavy white three bees displayed one and two proper.

Origin/meaning

The Gold and Black bees alludes to the Target Towing and Pilotless Target Aircraft operated by the Squadron. The Latin Motto translates as "Not unto us alone". The badge was approved in 1954.
