Escudo de prata, com uma faixa de negro, carregada de três chamas de ouro e vermelho. Em chefe um açor de sua cor voando, segurando uma quina de Portugal nas garras. Em contra-chefe, duas faixas ondeadas de verde, carregadas de cinco peixes de prata, postos três, dois. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco com os dizeres : " VILA DE NORDESTE ", em letras de negro.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 15, 1937.
