Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1968 (?) and show the pine tree from the former arms and the fan from the Wursterheide arms in the upper part.
The lower part symbolises Deichsende ('the end of the dike') with the sea and the land. The trefoils symbolise agriculture.
