  • (fr) Tiercé en pairle renversé: au 1er de gueules à la grappe de raisin d'or tigée et feuillée de deux pièces de même, au 2e de sinople à l'oie au naturel, au 3e d'argent à deux fasces ondées d'azur et au lion de gueules brochant.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in May 2015.

The grape refers to a wine-growing commune, the goose the activity of the production of foie gras. The two wavy bars symbolise the Gelise and the Izaute rivers in the commune and the lion is taken from the arms of the department .
