OBERDORFELDEN
State : Hessen
District (Kreis) : Main-Kinzig Kreis (until 1973 Hanau)
Incorporated into : 1971 Schöneck (Hessen)
Origin/meaning
The arms were designed in the 1950 and are based on the only known seal of the village, dating from the 18th century. The horseshoe is most likely an old village symbol.
I have no idea whether the arms were actually adopted by the municipality.
