Scudo di forma sannitica d’argento al castello triturrito di rosso merlato alla guelfa e chiuso d’argento sul mare d’azzurro. L’arma, sovrastata dalla corona di Comune, è circondata da due ramoscelli con foglie di alloro e di quercia. Motto: Ortona civitas vetustissima.
