Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were registered in 1964.

The arms show three poplar trees, a typical tree around the farms in the area. The poplar was widely used for a number of purposes on the farms. The arms are based on a seal of the Lunde Herred from 1425, to which most of the municipality belonged until 1970.
