The arms are those of Nicolas du Rondeau, Lord of Péronnes. Until 1629 the village used a seal with a double-headed eagle. In 1629 Nicolas du Rondeau changed the seal. Even though the village changed hands a few decased later, the seal remaine din use for a longer period of time.
