Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on September 15, 1975.

Pöllauberg is a place of pilgrimages in a particularly beautiful corner of Styria. The church is dedicated to Our Lady and dates from the Gothic period. As it is a distinguishing feature of the municipality, it was put on the shield.
