PĂNET

District/county (județ) : Mureș

Stema Pănet

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 23, 2022.

The wavy bar is the symbol of water, and it means the streams that cross the commune, at the same time referring to the vicinity of the Mures river. The gate symbolizes the fact that the administrative-territorial unit is the "gate of the Transylvania Field", and the carved tulip refers to preserving popular traditions.

The book symbolizes teaching and science, representing the Bible, and expressing the faith of the locals. The wheat represents the fruit of the field, referring to the traditional occupation of the locals, agriculture, and the number of spikes shows the number of villages in the municipality.

The silver mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
