Selected collector's items from Germany:

PENZBERG

State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Weilheim-Schongau (until 1972 Weilheim)
Additions : 1911 St. Johannesrain

Wappen von Penzberg

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were devised and adopted in 1919, but officially granted on December 16, 1929.

The Agnus Dei, the symbol of St. John, is a symbol for the municipality of St. Johannesrain. The tools in the upper part symbolise the coal mining in the area. The upper part is derived from the arms of Bayern.

Wappen von Penzberg

The arms by Hupp in the Kaffee Hag albums +/- 1925
