PHÖBEN

State : Brandenburg
District (Kreis) : Potsdam-Mittelmark
Incorporated into : 2002 Werder (Havel)

Wappen von Phöben/Arms (crest) of Phöben
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 2000.

The base symbolises the geographical position of the village on the Havel river and the Waqchtel- and Haakberg hills. The flowering apple tree symbolises the importance of horticulture in the area. The tree is shown with flowers, that should further develop into fruits. This represents the future of the municipality.
