Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat de un brâu undat, de argint. În câmp albastru, în partea superioară, se află cinci spice de grâu dispuse în pal; în partea inferioară, în câmp albastru, se află o stâncă de argint. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu trei turnuri crenelate.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 18, 2009.

The upper half shows the importance of agriculture in the municipality as well as the five towns and villages in the municipality. The wavy bar is the Olt river. The base shows a canting rock.
