Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on March 4, 2021.
The silver point and the two wolf heads are canting (Pouy is an indication for a mountain, loubrin comes from the Latin lupus, wolf). The cross is the symbol for the Occitanie region in which the village is situated.
The crosier refers to St. Germier, bishop of Toulouose and patron saint of the village. The garb and green colour indicate the agricultural character of the municipality.
