'n Wapenskild wat in vier verdeel en met goud omsoom is. Die boonste linkerkwart bevat die voorstelling van 'n oop boek op 'n rooi agtergrond en die onderste linkerkwart, die voorsteling van 'n groen boom op 'n swart agtergrond, terwyl die boonste regterkwart voorstellings van 'n pik met 'n blou kop en 'n graaf met 'n blou kop wat oorhoeks gekruis is, op 'n goue agtergrond en die onderste regterkwart die voorstelling van 'n ossewa op 'n donkergroen agtergrond toon. Die geheel rus op 'n swart perkamentrol wat met goud omrand is en waarop die leuse VIRTUTE ET LABORE staan.

A shield quartered, bordered gold. The upper left quarter on a red background contains the representation of an open book, the lower left quarter on a black background, the representation of a green tree, the upper right quarter on a gold background, the representations of a pick with a blue head, crossed diagonally with a spade with a blue head, the lower right quarter on a dark green background, the representation of an ox-wagon; the whole resting on a black scroll bordered gold with motto VIRTUTE ET LABORE.

The arms were officially granted on July 3, 1939 and confirmed on March 14, 1997.
