Primero: en campo de oro, sobre ceñidores ondados de azur (azul) y plata (tres y tres), árbol de sinople (verde), cinco panelas de sinople (verde), colocadas en aspa, la del centro resaltada sobre tronco de árbol, bordura de gules (rojo), cargada por ocho aspas de oro. Segundo: en campo de gules (rojo), diez panelas de sinople (verde), fileteadas de oro colocadas en tres palos (tres, cuatro y tres).

Origin/meaning

The Shield bears the arms of Lieutenant D. Antonio Ortiz de Zarate y Sanchez de Morellán. Killed in Action at T'zelata de Esbuia, Ifni (then a Spanish Enclave on the Atlantic Coast of Morocco) in 1957.
