Gevierendeeld; 1. in keel een geschaakte schuinbalk van twee rijen van zilver en van sabel; 2. in sabel een leeuw van zilver, gekroond, geklauwd en getongd van goud; 3. in zilver een stappende haan van sabel, gebekt, gebaard en gepoot van keel; 4. gevierendeeld: 1. en 4. in zilver drie dwarsbalken van keel 2. en 3. in zilver drie disselbijlen van keel, de twee in het schildhoofd afgewend. Schildhouders: links een Sint-Pieter met tiara en sleutel, rechts een Sint-Amandus met kerk en draak, alles van goud. Het geheel geplaatst op een losse grasgrond, bezaaid met rozen van sabel, geknopt en gepunt van goud en met rozen van zilver.

Origin/meaning

The new arms are based on the old arms of Puurs and Sint-Amands. The 1st, 3rd and 4th quarters as well as St. Peter are taken from the old arms of Puurs. The 2nd quarter and St. Amands are taken from the old arms of Sint-Amands. The roses on the compartment are taken from the old arms of Oppuurs. The silver roses represent the village of Lippelo.
