I grønt en oppvoksende gull høygaffel med tre tinder.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 30, 1981.

The arms show a pitchfork as a symbol for the local agriculture. A large part of the municipality is lowland, which historically has mainly been used to produce hay.
