English In front of a York Rose a bugle horn proper.

Motto: Qui operit caleum

Origin/meaning

The horn symbolises the Wakemans Horn of Ripon which was an alarm of dangersymbolising the watchfulness of the unit whilst the rose is indicative of the locationof the Unit in Yorkshire. The Motto translates as "Who covereth the heavens". The Badge was approved in February 1957.
