English Blue; a lion passant guardant gold armed and langued red and in base party per fess arched yellow and barry wavy of six blue and white.

Origin/meaning

Lion is from the Seal of the Dorset County Council. Yellow and wavy blue and white refer to the Sandy Seashore of the Area. The badge was approved on 8 June 2000.
