Escudo de prata, dois ramos de oliveira de verde, frutados de negro, com os pés passados em aspa e atados de vermelho, entre duas palas diminutas, ondadas, de azul; em campanha, monte de verde. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: “ RANHADOS - MÊDA “.

The arms were officially granted on March 5, 2002.
