RHEIN-HUNSRÜCK KREIS (SIM)

State : Rheinland-Pfalz

Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on January 6, 1972.

The arms combine elements form the two former district arms. The chief is derived from the arms of Simmern, the eagle form the arms of St. Goar. The lion of the Pfalz was part of both former district arms.
