Selected collector's items from Germany:

RIEDBÖHRINGEN

State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Schwarzwald-Baar Kreis (until 1973 Donaueschingen)
Incorporated into : 1972 Blumberg

Wappen von Riedböhringen
Official blazon
German In Gold mit silber-blauem Wolkenbord ein roter Seelöwe mit silbernem Schwanz.

Origin/meaning

The arms were designed and adopted in 1903.

The arms show a heraldic sea-lion within the bordure taken from the arms of the Princes of Fürstenberg. The sea-lion is taken from the arms of the Von Beringen family, to whim the village belonged until 1441 when they sold it to Fürstenberg.
