Escudo de negro, duas pirâmides de sal de prata, assente num terrado de verde, em contra-chefe, cortado por três faixas ondadas de prata e de azul. Em chefe um rodízio de engenho de prata. Coroa mural de cinco torres de prata. Listel branco com a legenda de negro : " CIDADE DE RIO MAIOR ".
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 26, 1986.
Unfortunately I have no background information on these arms. Any information is welcome !
The previous arms were granted on December 4, 1935 and differ only in the crown:
