Selected collector's items from Germany:

ROSSDORF

State : Hessen
District (Kreis) : Darmstadt-Dieburg (until 1972 Darmstadt)
Additions : 1977 Gundernhausen

Wappen von Roßdorf

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1952 and are based on the 19th century seal of the village. This seal, however, used a canting horse (Ross) instead of the horseshoe. The meaning of the stars, crescent and rose is unknown.
