The arms were granted on May 22, 1987.
The arms show three terns, which are chosen as an appropriate symbol for a coastal fishing village. The tern is also a very watchful and energetic bird, which is to symbolise the local inhabitants.
Heraldry of the World is a private site and maintained as a hobby, which takes a lot of time and effort (and costs).
