Partito: al primo d’azzurro al muro al naturale aperto e finestrato di due feritoie da sparo di nero e turrito di tre pezzi finestrati dello stesso, sormontati da un leone di San Marco, privo di nimbo, passante d’argento; al secondo troncato d’argento e di verde.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 7, 1938, but have been in use since at least 1890. The right half shows the local castle, and the lion of Venice, as the city was dominated by Venice for a long time.
