Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite. În interiorul scutului, în câmp albastru, se află 3 turnuri identice de argint, cu câte două ferestre și creneluri la coronament. Fiecare turn se află pe o terasă verde, delimitată de șanțuri de apărare, și este surmontat de câte o coroană de aur, deschisă, cu 3 fleuroane. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu 3 turnuri crenelate.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 20, 2013.

The 3 towers together with the crowns represent the old elements of the emblem of Rupea, referring to the medieval fortress existing in the area.

The green platform symbolizes the natural landscape and the defense ditches of the locality.

The mural crown with 3 crenellated towers means that the town has the status of a city.
