SÖLL

State : Tirol
District : Kufstein

Wappen von Söll (Tirol)

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 3, 1974.

Söll was already mentioned as a parish in the 8th century and is thus one of the oldest in Tirol. The oldest known seal of a parish priest dates from 1287. It is the canting seal of Heinrich von Habichaue, showing a hawk (Habicht). This seal was the base of the arms of Söll.
