Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, de argint, având în vârful scutului un câmp verde, din mijlocul căruia se înalță o salcie de aceeași culoare, pe trunchiul căreia broșează un cal negru cu piciorul drept anterior ridicat; cu un brâu ondulat, de argint, poziționat în talpă. În câmpul albastru, al șefului, se află câte trei spice de grâu de aur ușor curbate spre flancuri, care se unesc la bază și care sunt așezate, cele din dreapta, în bandă, cele din stânga, în bară. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

The arms were officially granted on January 16, 2020.

Wheat ears mean the main occupation of the inhabitants, agriculture. The willow is a canting element that refers to the name of the town and the forest richness of the area.

The horse refers to another basic occupation of the inhabitants, horse breeding, as well as to the endurance equestrian competition called Shagya Sălcioara, organized in the locality.

The wavy bar represents the rivers Dâmbovița and Ilfov.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
