Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat crenelat. În partea de sus, pe câmp verde, se află un cap de urs, de aur, flancat dreapta-stânga de câte trei flori de sare (Limonium gmelini), de argint, cu stamine și pistil de aur, dispuse în pal. În partea de jos, pe câmp de argint, se află o ladă de zestre albastră cu capac traforat, stilizând două turturele afrontate cu ochi și aripă hașurată de aur, asuprind un motiv solar simplu, din aur, cu șase raze albastre; în centru, lada este decorată cu un motiv solar de aur cu cercul circumscris unui hexagon cu șase raze de tip lentilă, ca și laturile, albastre. Acesta surmontează un șir orizontal, alternativ, de patru triunghiuri caroiate de aur și trei brăduți stilizați negri. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 27, 2020.

The bear's head represents the local wildlife and the green field the forests of the commune, both indicators of the agrotourism development.

Siberian statice (Limonium gmelini) flowers - nationally and internationally protected plants - represent the local flora and refer to the toponym Sărățeni, where, since antiquity, salt has been exploited and cleared.

The crenellated silver field represents the Roman camp from Sărățeni and the architectural patrimonial values of the commune.

The dowry box symbolizes the traditional craft of wood processing and decoration, which gives a picturesque landscape and fame to the commune, rich in museum pieces. The ornaments on the box refer to the geography and biosphere of the commune - mountains, firs, birds, sunlight.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
