  • (fr) Écartelé: au 1er d'argent au coq d'or, barbé, crêté et membré de gueules, aux 2e et 3e d'azur à trois bandes d'or, au 4e d'argent à l'épi de maïs d'or.

Origin/meaning

The first and fourth quarter refer to the agricultural character of the municipality. The second and third quarters show the arms of the Marquises de Scorailles, who owned a large part of the territory of the town for a long period of time.
