Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 8, 1966.
The upper half shows the village of St. Anton, which was rebuilt after a landslide destroyed the former village of Prazalanz. The landslide is symbolised by the upside-down mountain. The base shows the keys of the Montafon valley in which the village is situated.
