SCHÖTMAR
State : Nordrhein-Westfalen
District (Kreis) : Lippe (1972-1990 Detmold, until 1972 Lemgo)
Incorporated into : 1969 Bad Salzuflen
German | In grün ein schwarzes Zahnrad, begleitet oben und unten von je einem silbernen Wellenbalken.
Origin/meaningThe arms were granted on April 1, 1921. The arms indicate that Schötmar was an industrial centre (cogwheel) in the woods (green), with the two wavy bars symbolising the Werre and Bega rivers in the municipality.
