Selected collector's items from Germany:

SCHEFFAU

State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Berchtesgadener Land (until 1973 Berchtesgaden)
Incorporated into : 1969 Marktschellenberg

Wappen von Scheffau (Marktschellenberg)/Arms (crest) of Scheffau (Marktschellenberg)
Official blazon
German In Blau über drei nebeneinander liegenden silbernen Kugeln ein silbernes Wasserrad.
English (Marktschellenberg) No blazon/translation known. Please click here to send your (heraldic !) blazon or translation

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1964.

The arms refer to the, formerly common, special water mills in the municipality, Kugelwassermühle, or ball-bearing water mills. There is only one still operating in the village. The arms thus show three balls and a water mill wheel.
