SCHLOSS NEUHAUS

State : Nordrhein-Westfalen
District (Kreis) : Paderborn
Amt : Amt Schloss Neuhaus
Incorporated into : 1975 Paderborn

Wappen von Schloss Neuhaus

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were first used on a seal dating from 1620, and the colours were adopted in 1904. The arms show in the right half the image of the former castle of the Bishops of Paderborn in the town, built in 1275 and renewed in 1590. The left half shows the cross of the State of Paderborn, however in different colours.
