Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 4, 1978.

The cross symbolises the cross found on Oberiflingen in a 7th century grave of a Alleman noble warrior. It indicates that the area was part of a large estate already in the 7th century. The gold and red are taken from the arms of several families who played a role in the local history.

The chief shows the antler of Wúrttemberg and indicates that the area became part of Württemberg in the late 16th and early 17th century.
