Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 6, 2022.
The Scottish Ahlul Bayt Society is a faith-based organisation working to meet the needs of the Scottish Shia Muslim community. The arms thus show symbols of the Shia faith in green and in chief the Scottish saltire.
