Wappen von Selbach (Gaggenau)

Official blazon

(de) In Rot zwischen zwei schräggekreuzten silbernen Lorbeerzweigen ein goldener Sester.

Origin/meaning

The oldest known seal of the village dates from 1764 and shows the old village sign surrounded by laurel leaves, but not placed in a shield. The two known later seals both show the same composition.

The arms were granted in the colours of Baden on November 4, 1959, as no historical colours were known.
