SIEDENBURG
State : Niedersachsen
District (Kreis) : Diepholz
Samtgemeinde : Samtgemeinde Siedenburg
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The trefoil is a symbol of agriculture, but the symbol was also used in the arms of the medieval Lords of Siedenburg. The base shows the bear claws of the Counts of Hoya, as the area historically was part of the County Hoya.
