SIEGERSDORF BEI HERBERSTEIN

State : Steiermark
District : Hartberg-Fürstenfeld (until 2015 Hartberg)
Incorporated into : 2015 Feistritztal

Wappen von Siegersdorf bei Herberstein

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 20, 1998.

The vine is, of course, a reference to viticulture, which is quite common in Eastern Styria.

The lion is taken from the arms of the Waldsberg family, who owned the lands before they passed on to the counts of Herberstein.
