(de) In Gold eine schräglinke blaue Wellenleiste, begleitet: vorn von einer auf einem schwarzen Astende sitzenden roten Eule, hinten von einer in der bauchigen Mitte profilierten roten Urne mit zwei Henkeln.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 2, 2001.

The blue bend symbolises the Moosterbach which flows through the municipality. The red owl is a symbol for the nature and nature conservation in the municipality. The prehistoric urn symbolises the long-time inhabitation of the region.
